Welcome to the new look website of
Milton Keynes Scale Model Club

Firstly, I would like to thank Derek on behalf of the club, for his hard work running the club's website over the last twelve years and a great job he has done with it. I am glad to have been given the chance to step into his shoes and take over looking after the website.

Over the last 12 months or so, I have been giving the website a revamp and rebuilt in the background whilst Derek continued to run and keep the old website up to date. So I must thank Derek for looking after the live website so I could work on creating the new one.

As this is an ongoing developement, pages will be updated and reformated over the next few months with new items added. The members models pages are being brought up to date and expanded with new models from the clubs membership. But in general, the website has the same layout and areas as the former site.

So enjoy yourself whilst you are looking around the website and let your friends know about our website.

Mick Lomax

If you look at the links on the left of every page, you will see that we have a Diary, Guest Book and Forum for you to peruse at leisure and to add your input.

About The Club

Milton Keynes Scale Model Club is one of the countries top scale plastic modelling clubs, with members from Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas including Newport Pagnell, Dunstable and Luton.

Our members build all types of models. The current types include aircraft, armour, ships, figures, cars and science fiction.

One of the strengths of the club is the willingness of all the members to share their knowladge and experience with others. We aim to help others improve their models and encourage the newcomer or old hand. We can show you how to make it, paint it , finish it, weather it and display it. In short, you are sure to come away from every meeting of the Milton Keynes Scale Model Club having learnt something new.

Whether you regard modelling as a pastime, making no more than a couple of models a year, a young modeller keen to get more information, or you have years of experience but always worked alone, the Milton Keynes Scale Model Club has something to offer.

Meetings are held on a monthly basis, on the fourth Wednesday in every month (except December, when it is on the third Wednesday) at the Cranfield Campus Social Club, Wharley End, Cranfield, Bedford, MK43 0AL, close to junctions 13 and 14 of the M1. Meetings start at about 7:30pm.
