GONE WITH THE WIND

FOR LOVE EMBRACED IN YOUR ARMS (1864) 200 mm BUST

At one of our Club nights this model was passed around

"Would any body like to do a review piece?" Dave Frances asked. 

There was no real enthusiasm from the table, so I picked up the pieces and was quite taken with the pose and quality of sculpting so I took it home.

Generally all the flesh as painted enamel with oil paint flesh tones. The shirt was sprayed matt white Humbrol with blue grey tones. The dress was painted with model acrylics.

I was really pleased with the results. It appeared in the 2006 October copy of Scale Model International.
