The new Airfix 1/48th scale model.

 

Airfix Seafire F.XVII

This is the new tooling Airfix 1/48th scale kit of the Supermarine Seafire F.XVII, which I had built out of the box in just 5 days. Engraved detail is a bit heavy but it is still a very nice kit that I will build again.

A full build feature of this model will appear in the Scale Aviation Modeller International's August 2011 issue.
