“Mystery Solved”Ivan Heffenlarf recently passed away aged 90 at his Swiss home. Ivan was a high ranking test pilot in the Luftwaffe. He confessed on his deathbed that he had stolen the sole highly secret Jet FW183 ‘Huckbein’ prototype. Ivan heard that his arrest by the Gestapo was imminent, so he flew this aircraft to Switzerland under cover of darkness. The Swiss richly rewarded Ivan, who has lived the life of luxury ever since. It has been thought the jet was sold to the Russians in exchange for Hitler’s gold, but that’s another mystery!
